Former Sun Tyson Chandler officially signs with Lakers
After clearing waivers, former Phoenix Suns big man Tyson Chandler is now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. The center was linked to L.A. following his buyout with the Suns.

It’s official.
After clearing waivers, former Phoenix Suns big man Tyson Chandler is now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
It should come as little surprise, however, as Chandler was linked to L.A. following the news of his buyout with the Suns.
The 36-year-old center was in the final year of his four-year, $52 million deal with Phoenix.
In a little over three seasons with the Suns, Chandler averaged 8.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
In a video to Lakers fans, Chandler expressed his excitement to play for L.A.
Chandler, who is in his 18th NBA season, is averaging 3.7 points and 5.6 rebounds this season.
