New York Knicks All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) is available to play Sunday against the Kevin Durant-less Phoenix Suns, per the NBA injury report.

Chris Haynes first reported Brunson would play against Phoenix at Madison Square Garden after missing the last 15 games with an ankle sprain.

The Knicks are 9-6 since Brunson was hurt in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

When the Suns last played the Knicks in November, Brunson scored 36 points with 10 assists in a 138-122 win.

Brunson’s return adds to the difficulty of Phoenix’s schedule down the stretch as the Suns vie for one of the final two play-in slots.

Durant’s absence with a sprained ankle is another obstacle.

The Suns have lost five straight games after their four-game winning streak. Phoenix entered Sunday two games back of the Sacramento Kings for 10th in the Western Conference, whom they play to end the regular season.

Both the Suns and Kings have top-five toughest schedules to end the season per opposing winning percentage.
