Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green reached for his right hamstring as he exited a 114-103 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday. He was ruled out shortly after.

Green left near the end of the first quarter with assistance from trainers on both sides, appearing to put very little pressure on his right leg.

It was Green’s second time starting for Phoenix after a strain on the same right hamstring kept him out the first eight games of the season. There was a reaggravation of the injury that occurred during preseason work.

Green had 29 points on 10-for-20 shooting in his team debut against the Clippers on Thursday. He had two points, one rebound and one assist in seven minutes before leaving the court.

Green played all 82 games each of the past two regular seasons.
