Phoenix Suns center Oso Ighodaro is questionable for Friday’s game against the Denver Nuggets after missing the last two games with an oblique strain.
For Denver, former Suns wing Cameron Johnson (ankle) is questionable along with 29-year-old rookie Alpha Diallo (personal), while Julian Strawther (knee) and Spencer Jones (hamstring) were both ruled out.
Mark Williams (shoulder) and Drew Timme (two-way) are out for Phoenix.
Ighodaro had been doubtful going into the last two games that he eventually missed due to the oblique issue.
The center was reaching for his right side/back area near the end of the first half of the Suns’ opener, and he made an early exit for the locker room shortly before halftime.
Second-year center Khaman Maluach has started all three games for the Suns (1-2), but Ighodaro saw more minutes in the first half of the opener before his injury. Maluach has averaged 23.3 minutes per game, while two-way center Duop Reath is averaging 6.3 minutes per game.
Johnson’s injury occurred in the Nuggets’ season opener, after the Denver wing had five points (made his only 3-point attempt) in 11 minutes before exiting.
Phoenix last played Monday in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder before getting the rest of the week until Friday’s matchup off from games, while the Nuggets had a win over the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday.
