Rasheer Fleming throws down dunk on Jaren Jackson Jr. during Suns-Grizzlies

Phoenix Suns rookie forward Rasheer Fleming got the first poster of his young NBA career on Wednesday when he dunked on Memphis Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr.

Fleming was coming across the baseline from the left corner when he got the feed from a cutting Oso Ighodaro and avoided the block by Jackson en route to the rim.

The dunk gave Fleming his first points since he had five against the New Orleans Pelicans on Dec. 27, needing seven shot attempts to get there.

Fleming played five minutes in the first half on Wednesday, already beating out eight of his appearances on the year. He played four more minutes in the second half and finished with a career-high eight points.

The rookie drafted at No. 31 overall entered Wednesday’s matchup with 20 games played this season (seven minutes per game), landing in the points column in 11 contests.

He had played more total minutes (177-140) with the G League Valley Suns, despite only appearing in five of those games. Fleming is averaging 17.4 points (50.8% overall, 40% on 3s), 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in the developmental setting.
