Phoenix Suns forward Cam Johnson continued a 17-2 run to start the fourth quarter with a monstrous slam dunk over San Antonio Spurs guard Doug McDermott.

The Suns entered the fourth trailing the San Antonio Spurs 91-79 but caught fire before Johnson stole the show taking a 94-93 lead.

Following a Spurs timeout, Johnson scored a layup to score the last four points of the run.

The 6-foot-8 Johnson can not only drill the three but also hammer down dunks with sneaky athleticism if teams decide to try and run him off the three-point line.

The play gave a much-needed boost to the Footprint Center as Phoenix trailed for a majority of the game and had not led the game since the 48-47 mark in the second quarter.

Johnson’s offense has taken a big step this year as he is averaging 12.0 points per game, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 45.9% shooting. He is seeing a career high in points, rebounds, as well as field goal and three-point percentage.

The forward finished with 11 points, five rebounds and an assist in the 115-110 victory.
