Arizona State and Arizona football received votes in the latest Associated Press’ Top 25 poll following wins on Saturday.
Arizona (7-3, 4-3 Big 12) received votes in the poll for the first time this season with nine following the Wildcats’ 30-24 win against Cincinnati. ASU (7-3, 5-2 Big 12), who received seven votes during its bye week, got 19 following its 25-23 win against West Virginia.
Arizona received 23 votes in the latest Coaches Poll, while ASU received 16.
The Sun Devils are back in action at Folsom Field on Saturday to face Colorado (3-7, 1-6 Big 12). Kickoff is at 6 p.m. MST and can be seen on ESPN2.
The Wildcats will host Baylor (5-5, 3-4 Big 12) at Arizona Stadium at 11 a.m. MST. The game can be seen on TNT.
How rest of Big 12 fared in poll compared to ASU, Arizona?
Four Big 12 teams appeared in the latest AP poll with Texas Tech tied at No. 6 with Oregon following its win against UCF on Saturday. Texas Tech (10-1, 7-1 Big 12) is first in the Big 12 conference standings.
BYU (9-1, 6-1 Big 12), who is second in the conference, jumped up one spot to No. 11 following its win against TCU.
Utah jumped up to No. 13 following a win against Baylor. Houston, who was on a bye during Week 12, appeared at No. 25 in the latest poll.
Cincinnati fell out of the Top 25 following the loss to Arizona.

It is NEVER "meh" beating the Mildscats!
The T-Cup is shaping-up to be a good one (much better than the last two, both won by the road team), and both schools should win their next games . . . And if the Devils win, retain the Cup, it'll be, "meh", we were supposed to do that. IF Arizona pulls the upset, it'll completely change their narrative from last season. Going to be a fun watch!
The defending conference Champions at home against a dumpster fire team (from last season), that was picked to finish 2nd to last, should win, period.
