ASU’s Cam Skattebo has two more top 30 visits scheduled

Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo has two more top 30 visits scheduled this week, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The names of the two teams were not disclosed.

Rapoport adds that Skattebo has already met with the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.

Skattebo has been a hot topic this draft cycle after rushing for 1,711 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on 293 carries in his final season at Arizona State.

He also reeled in 45 catches for 605 yards and three touchdowns and threw a 42-yard touchdown pass in the Sun Devils’ Peach Bowl loss to the Texas Longhorns.

The 5-foot-9, 219-pound running back only helped his draft stock with a strong showing at the NFL Draft Combine behind a 39.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-3 broad jump.

At his ASU pro day, Skattebo posted a reported 4.65-second 40-yard dash.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has Skattebo as the ninth-ranked running back in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Fellow ESPN analyst Matt Miller has the running back landing with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round (No. 123 overall) of his mock draft released in March.

How would ASU’s Cam Skattebo fit in the Cardinals offense?

Running back is far from Arizona’s biggest need this NFL Draft, with starter James Conner and Trey Benson atop the depth chart heading into 2025. Emari Demercado and DeeJay Dallas help round out the running backs room.

But in an offense that prides itself on punishing the defense through the run game, adding a bruiser like Skattebo in the later rounds could have its benefits.

If anything, his jersey would be a hot commodity in the same area he made a name for himself in college.
