ASU unveils new James Harden-branded jersey collection

ASU doesn't invest in basketball, and never really have historically. Still waiting to see if they're serious about upgrading the ol' Activities Center.

UArizona cares more about basketball than they do football, yet football still makes them more money. Bass ackwards.

Ring talk is just lazy. Steve Kerr, Andre Iguodala, Aaron Gordon, Channing Frye, Richard Jefferson, Jud Buechler, Jason Terry, and anyone else you can name were all fortunate to be a part of great systems and winning cultures. Same can be said for Lionel Hollins, Mark Landsberger, Byron Scott, Eddie House Jeff Ayers and Lugentz Dort. A championship is a team-acheivement. Those go far beyond the individual, and they don't vault a role player (from Role Player U) to superstar status.

None of them were ever the best players at their respective positions, unlike Harden who made First Team All-NBA six times and is also a former MVP. Meanwhile, your most decorated NBA player is Gilbert Arenas. No comparison to what Harden has achieved, and is still doing as the catalyst for a surging Clippers squad. In his 17th season, no less.

The only time UArizona won a national championship was one of the few times they weren't favored to reach the Final Four. That's the problem with the most unpredictable postseason in all of sports. If you're not playing in April, you just get a participation trophy for your fans to hang their hats on.
