ASU’s Harry 13th in second PFF mock draft, falls on McShay big board

All N’Keal Harry did Saturday was return a punt 92 yards for a touchdown and make, arguably, the most difficult reception of the year in college football.

NFL Draft experts already had their eyes on the 6-foot-4 Arizona State receiver, but that performance lent more credence to the belief that he is one of the best wideouts who could be eligible in the 2019 draft.

Pro Football Focus’ second NFL mock draft tabbed the junior as the second-best receiver on the board — behind Stanford’s J.J. Arcega-Whiteside — and has Harry going 13th overall to the Tennessee Titans.

Another big-bodied receiver with contested catch skills, Harry adds an outside weapon for the Titans’ offense and he’s averaged 6.1 (yards after catch) per reception this season.

Oddly enough, Harry fell quite a bit in ESPN senior writer Todd McShay’s latest big board. Harry was the No. 19 prospect, according to McShay on Oct. 16.

But the rise of a handful of outside linebackers and defensive ends mostly account for the ASU receiver falling to No. 29 on McShay’s latest list of the top 32 prospects.

In Saturday’s win against USC, Harry made a ridiculous Odell Beckham Jr.-like one-handed catch while completely horizontal. He can absolutely ball and will be a weapon in the NFL.

Through eight games for the 4-4 Sun Devils, Harry has compiled 667 yards off 46 receptions (14.5 yards per catch) to go with six touchdowns through the air. He’s added a rushing touchdown and the punt return for a score Saturday in a victory against the USC Trojans.
