Arizona State football adds 3-star DB DaQuwan Dunn to 2026 recruiting class
Three-star CB recruit DaQuwan Dunn committed to Arizona State football on Monday, adding another Texas high schooler to ASU's 2026 class.

Three-star defensive back recruit DaQuwan Dunn announced his commitment to Arizona State football via social media on Monday, adding another Texas high school standout to ASU’s 2026 freshman class.
Dunn is a 6-foot-1 cornerback playing at Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas. He also received offers from fellow Big 12 programs Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas State and Houston.

He is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball and participates in track and field.
247Sports ranked Dunn the 78th best cornerback in the class and 120th best prospect out of Texas. 247Sports analyst Gabe Brooks called him a lengthy corner with promising ball skills:
Owns valuable snaps at receiver, which reveal ball skills, body control and some run-after-catch athleticism. Capable tackler in the perimeter run and screen games. Possesses physical tools to swallow up smaller receivers at the line of scrimmage. Often gets hands on receivers at the snap. Crowds the catch point with long levers. Experience in basketball, high jump (5-6), long jump. … Well-assembled P4-caliber corner prospect who could become a quality starter. Possesses physical traits that align with possible higher-end developmental upside.
The Texas to Tempe pipeline is growing for ASU, as seven of its 13 commits for 2026 are from the Lone Star State.
ASU’s 2026 recruiting class is ranked 11th in the country by 247Sports and 14th by Rivals.
