Which ASU football player made ESPN’s 2025 Preseason All-America Team?

Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson’s stock continues to rise this offseason. He was named on Monday to ESPN’s 2025 Preseason All-America Second Team.

Tyson’s inclusion is just one of his many recent offseason honors.

Tyson previously earned a spot on the Walter Camp Preseason All-America Second Team alongside fellow Sun Devil quarterback Sam Leavitt and also made the 2025 Biletnikoff Award Preseason watch list last week.

It’s not a surprise Tyson is racking up some steam heading into the 2025 season after a breakout year in his first season with the Sun Devils in 2024.

In 12 games last year, he caught 75 passes for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns before sustaining a season-ending injury against Arizona in the Territorial Cup.

Now that Tyson is back and healthy at training camp, he will be looking to build on his promising connection with Leavitt as they enter their second season together — and with Arizona State entering the season as a Big 12 contender.

That certainly wasn’t the case for the Sun Devils last season, who flew under the radar, going from being ranked at the bottom of the preseason Big 12 Media Poll to winning the conference championship and earning a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Now, a year removed from their first conference championship since 2007, the Sun Devils are returning a Big 12-most 79% of their offensive and defensive production and were also ranked 11th in the preseason AP Top 25 rankings.
