Jordyn Tyson shows off moves at Saints training camp

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver and former Arizona State standout Jordyn Tyson’s moves that made him a first-round draft pick were on display during training camp on Saturday.

During a team drill, Tyson ran a great route and made an ankle-breaking move on Saints second-year cornerback Quincy Riley to catch a pass along the sideline from Valley native quarterback Tyler Shough.

Shough and Tyson looked to be building chemistry during Saints training camp as they later connected for a completion up the middle that Tyson took to the end zone.

Along with Shough, Tyson looked to be building chemistry with running back Travis Etienne Jr. as they were seen making a special handshake.

Tyson entered the NFL after being selected eighth overall by the Saints in the draft, becoming the first Arizona State player taken in the top 10 since Terrell Suggs in 2003 (No. 10).

Tyson looks to translate his two seasons at Arizona State into success in the NFL. He caught 136 passes for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in 21 games with the Sun Devils. For his efforts, he was named first-team All-Big 12 twice.
