Arizona defensive back Jay’Vion Cole is a game-time decision for the Territorial Cup, per Friday’s final Big 12 availability report, after he’s been questionable for much of the week.
Cole is the conference’s interceptions leader (four) despite missing two games.
The Wildcats’ starting left guard Chubba Maae was also ruled as a game-time decision. Arizona defensive lineman Tiaoalii Savea was ruled out after beginning the week questionable.
ASU wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will play after carrying a probable distinction throughout the week. He played 29 snaps in his return from a hamstring injury at Colorado on Saturday, right around the stated pitch count of 30.
Tyson said Tuesday he played around 95% and came out a little more sore than most games.
“I feel pretty good, just a long day of practice,” the receiver added. “Getting the body calloused up a little bit in (wide receivers coach Hines Ward’s) words.”
Fellow Sun Devil receiver Jalen Moss was probable on Tuesday but taken off the report on Wednesday. He played 37 snaps in the Colorado game and was without a catch for the first time since the Texas Tech game, down from 72 and 66 snaps in the previous two games.
Arizona running back Quincy Craig was questionable until being removed from the availability report on Thursday.
Cornerback Rodney Bimage Jr. is out following the scary hit he had in the West Virginia win on Nov. 15.

Teams can only play the game with the folks that are available . . . Tyson being available is huge, but Sims can sometimes be very off-target, so we'll probably see the Devils pounding the run game, and eventually wearing the smaller Cats down. As for Craig, he's solid, but Arizona has three good backs that can score; plus they tend to throw the ball a lot more than run. Devils limit turnovers, run the ball, they win 29-27. If they don't, Cats win 31-23, with a meaningless/late TD making the Devils' last points. Should be a heck of a game.
