The 6-foot-4 combo guard reclassified from the 2028 class, and he is the third four-star recruit in ASU’s 2027 class alongside forwards Howard Williams and Carson Crawford.

Here is how Miles ranks nationally:

  • 247Sports: No. 32 nationally, No. 1 out of Arizona
  • ESPN: No. 19 nationally, No. 1 out of Arizona
  • Rivals: No. 27 nationally, No. 2 out of Arizona

Per 247Sports’ scouting director Adam Finkelstein:

Miles is a combo-guard who plays with a scoring mentality. He’s smooth and creative as a handler, shoots as easy ball off the dribble, and poses a scoring threat at all three levels. There are times he can be inefficient though, both with his decision-making and a mid-range heavy shot diet.

There are subtle signs he could acclimate to structure at the next level. He has the versatility to play both on and off the ball, advances the ball up the floor, shows flashes of floor vision in the half-court and even an ability to move without the ball. Defensively, he has enough positional size and length to be effective, along with good footspeed.

Miles won the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year award in 2024-25 for his performance at Mesa High School and has attended USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamps.

Miles made the announced at AZ Compass Prep, saying the coaching staff’s communication and commitment to him have been consistent throughout the process.

The Sun Devils begin their first season under Bennett on Nov. 2 against East Tennessee State.
