Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball 2025 transfer portal tracker

Arizona men’s basketball saw its first transfer portal departure, KJ Lewis, enter days after the Wildcats lost to the Duke Blue Devils in the Sweet 16.

Center Emmanuel Stephen on March 31 became the second player to enter the portal, and he was followed by Henri Veesaar later that day.

Head coach Tommy Lloyd’s team already was losing Caleb Love, who leaves a massive hole of production and usage from his two seasons at Arizona. Forward Trey Townsend is another major contributor aging out of the college game.

Tobe Awaka on April 11 confirmed he’s returning for another season, whereas Jaden Bradley and Anthony Dell’Orso have not yet made their decisions known.

Motiejus Krivas, whose season ended with a foot injury before conference play started, represents another one of the biggest decisions to be made.

Arizona (24-13) has reason for optimism that it won’t have to rely so heavily on the portal due to a 2025 recruiting class that is likely the best the program has had this decade.

Gilbert Perry star Koa Peat committed on March 27, and fellow 6-foot-8 standout Dwayne Aristode (No. 24) has been in the fold for months.

The Wildcats also picked up five-star guard Brayden Burries on April 9. He is close with Peat and fellow commit Bryce James, son of LeBron James.
