Arizona to face UCLA in Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas event on 2026-27 opening night

The Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team will face the UCLA Bruins at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on the opening night of the 2026-27 season.

The game, which will be played on Nov. 2, will be part of the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas event that will also see Gonzaga take on Purdue. Additionally, the Arizona women’s basketball team will face Stanford, while USC plays UNLV.

All four games can be seen on TNT Sports’ networks and platforms. Tipoff times have yet to be announced.

“Opening the season against UCLA as part of the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas event will be a great way to open the season,” head coach Tommy Lloyd said in a news release. “The history between the two programs speaks for itself and has produced so many memorable games and moments over the years. We look forward to a fun atmosphere at T-Mobile Arena against Coach (Mick) Cronin and the Bruins.”

Arizona and UCLA have a longstanding basketball history, as both teams faced each other for the first time in 1923. The Wildcats have gone 51-64 overall against the Bruins. However, Arizona has won seven of its last nine games against UCLA, winning its most recent matchup 69-65 on Nov. 14.

Additionally, Arizona will play in the 2027 Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas event on Nov. 12, 2027, against Duke. The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, which will mark the first-ever basketball game to be played at the stadium.
