Guard Jaden Bradley scored 17 points and forward Tobe Awaka registered a double-double as No. 2 Arizona beat No. 6 Iowa State 73-57 on Monday to clinch an outright Big 12 regular-season championship.
With the win, the Wildcats (28-2, 15-2 Big 12) also clinched the No. 1 seed in the Big 12 conference tournament, set for March 10–14 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Arizona won its first Big 12 regular-season title in just its second season in the conference.
Bradley, who was one of five seniors honored before the game as part of senior night at McKale Center at ALKEME Arena, finished the game with 17 points (on 4-of-10 shooting), two assists and four rebounds, while shooting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Arizona set the tone early as the Wildcats went on a 15-3 scoring run in the final four minutes of the first half to take a 37-25 lead into halftime. Unlike its previous game against Kansas, where the lead shrank to two points in the second half, Arizona stayed in control, outscoring the Cyclones (24-6, 11-6 Big 12) 36-32 in the second half. The lead never dipped below nine points.
Following the win, Arizona will travel to Boulder, Colorado, for its regular-season finale as the Wildcats will face the Colorado Buffaloes (16-13, 6-10 Big 12) on Saturday. Tipoff from the CU Events Center is at 9 p.m. MST and can be seen on ESPN2.
