Arizona basketball adds Dutch center Endurance Aiyamenkhue out of German pro ranks

Arizona men’s basketball signed Dutch center Endurance Aiyamenkhue, who most recently played for Germany’s Ratiopharm Ulm, for the 2026-27 season, the Wildcats announced Friday.

He averaged 11.5 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 24 contests for Orange Academy, Ulm’s developmental squad that competes in Germany’s second league. He additionally played 3.5 minutes for Ulm at the EuroCup level this season.

In February 2025, he stood out at the Adidas Next Generation Tournament with 16 points, 10.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks averaged over four games as his team finished third in the event.

He has also played for the Netherlands in FIBA competition at the U18 and U16 levels.

Standing at 6-foot-10 with a reported 7-foot-4 wingspan, Aiyamenkhue will begin his Arizona career developing behind Motiejus Krivas, who announced he’d return for his senior season.

He’s the first Wildcats addition of this offseason to land firmly in the front court. Five-star guard Caleb Holt remains the biggest headliner among the additions.

Holt is joined by four-star wing Cameron Holmes of Goodyear Millennium High School as well as transfer guards Derek Dixon (North Carolina) and J.J. Mandaquit (Washington).
