A backward pass from quarterback Jordan McCloud to wide receiver Jamarye Joiner got the defense to commit to one side of the field.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Michael Wiley was able to slip free on the other side in the end zone where Joiner delivered a second pass to him for the touchdown.

It helped keep Arizona within striking distance of the Bruins through two quarters, cutting the Bruins lead to 14-13 as the team headed to the locker room.
