Arizona football lands 2027 commitment from CB Evan Mack, 3rd from same California HS

Arizona football has now had three 2027 commitments from players prepping at Crean Lutheran High School, with the latest being 6-foot-3 CB Evan Mack.

Arizona football added cornerback Evan Mack to its class of 2027 commitments, as the Crean Lutheran High School product announced his school decision on social media Thursday.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder became Brent Brennan and the Wildcats’ third 2027 commit from the Irvine, California prep school. He joined wide receivers Ty Johnson (June 23) and Braylen Ross (May 1) to pledge their talent to Tucson.

Mack is rated by 247 Sports as the No. 64 cornerback in the country.

The Crean Lutheran rising senior also plays basketball.

Mack visited Arizona State, Kansas and Washington before landing with Arizona.

A fourth from the same high school and class, quarterback Caden Jones, is considering Arizona after making an official visit on June 19. He will announce his choice at 9 a.m. Friday.

The Wildcats now have 15 hard commits for 2027, and their current haul ranks 65th in Division 1.
