NAU to wear special helmets for homecoming game vs. Northern Colorado

NAU will be wearing special helmets for its homecoming game vs. Northern Colorado on Saturday.

“Leaning Louie” will be making his helmet debut for the first time in school history. Last July, fans voted on different helmet designs and Leaning Louie took down the NAU Axe in the final round.

Fans will also be able to purchase exclusive Leaning Louie merch online or inside the Skydome on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks will also be honoring the armed forces for Military Appreciation Day. In addition, fans are encouraged to wear all white for the white out.
