GLENDALE, Ariz. – No one should ever question the toughness of Arizona Cardinals running back Kerwynn Williams.

For three weeks now Williams has been playing with cracked ribs. And this week, he added a sore quadricep to his list of injuries. Together, they kept Williams from practicing Wednesday and Thursday, but they will not keep him from playing Sunday.

Williams is active for the Week 16 matchup against the New York Giants at University of Phoenix Stadium.

As is wide receiver John Brown, who has been sidelined each of the past four weeks because of a toe injury.

More good news, safety Antoine Bethea (knee) and linebacker Karlos Dansby (hamstring) are good to go despite missing practice time earlier in the week.

The inactives are quarterback Matt Barkley, linebacker Josh Bynes, linebacker Gabe Martin, tight end Troy Niklas and right guard Earl Watford, wide receiver Chad Williams and defensive lineman Xavier Williams.

Bynes (ankle), Niklas (ankle) and Watford (ankle) had already been ruled out, while Martin (hamstring) and Chad Williams (illness) were considered questionable.

For the Giants, linebacker B.J. Goodson (ankle) and wide receiver Tavarres King (concussion) are out due to injury and among the team’s listed inactives.

The others not in uniform for New York include offensive lineman Damien Mama, defensive end Avery Moss, defensive end Romeo Okwara, wide receiver Kalif Raymond and quarterback Davis Webb.
