Cardinals’ Budda Baker, Trey McBride score TDs in Pro Bowl Games

Arizona Cardinals’ Budda Baker and Trey McBride both scored touchdowns during the flag football portion of the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.

Baker picked off New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye to put the NFC up 48-25 in the third quarter.

Baker earned his seventh Pro Bowl nod in 2024 by setting a new career high in tackles with 164 to go along with two sacks, five passes defensed, a forced fumble and three quarterback hits across 17 starts.

The NFC would go on to beat the AFC 76-63. Minnesota Vikings and former Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy scored a pick-6 touchdown during the Pro Bowl and won the game’s defensive MVP.

McBride dives into foam pit after scoring a touchdown

In the fourth quarter, McBride would get in the end zone with a touchdown catch from Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield to extend the NFC’s lead to 70-51.

McBride celebrated by diving into the end zone foam pit with his NFC teammates.

McBride earned his first Pro Bowl nod after catching 111 passes for 1,146 yards and two receiving touchdowns. He also scored on the ground and on a fumble recovery.

McBride leads NFC to victory in “Satisfying Catches”

On Thursday, McBride helped lead the NFC to a victory in the “Satisfying Catches” portion of the Pro Bowl games.

On a team also featuring Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Chicago’s Jaylon Johnson, McBride made three one-handed catches on four attempts.

The NFC team beat an AFC team that included Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase, Las Vegas’ Brock Bowers and Houston’s Derek Stingley in a game that simulated players’ abilities to catch passes from different distances and of varying difficulties.
