The Arizona Cardinals activated safety Kitan Crawford from injured reserve and elevated two players from their practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game on Saturday.
Crawford has been out since Arizona’s season opener, when he sprained his ankle and was placed on IR. The Cardinals opened the young safety’s practice window on Wednesday.
The second-year Cardinal played in 15 games last year during his rookie season. With safeties Andrew Wingard and Wydett Williams both ruled out, Crawford could provide some much-needed help at the position. He is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Los Angeles.
In addition to activating Crawford, the Cardinals elevated running back Evan Hull and safety Jerrick Reed II from the practice squad.
Hull was a fifth-round pick out of Northwestern in 2023 and spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints during his first three years in the NFL. The running back has 20 carries for 49 yards across seven games in his career.
Reed was a sixth-round pick in 2023 and spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans across his first three years in the league. The safety has 24 total tackles in his 23 career games.
