The Arizona Cardinals announced three roster moves Tuesday afternoon.

The team cut running back Tavien Feaster from the active roster, elevated linebacker Joe Walker as a COVID-19 replacement for running back Jonathan Ward and signed linebacker Nate Hall to the practice squad.

Feaster has been cut four times during this regular season. Arizona has multiple times promoted him to the active roster, released him and then re-signed him to the practice squad.

The 23-year-old has played eight total snaps this year, all on special teams.

Walker re-joined the Cardinals on Oct. 13 after playing 30 games with the team in 2018 and 2019.

He has found a role since returning to the Valley, playing 40.6% of the team’s special teams snaps this season.

Walker has been called up from the practice squad each week since signing as either a standard elevation or COVID-19 replacement.

Hall played 10 games for the Houston Texans in 2020.

He had a forced fumble and two sacks in just 15 defensive snaps. Hall had a greater role on special teams last year.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker went undrafted out of Northwestern in 2019.

The Cardinals have one open spot on the practice squad. They could bring back Feaster after he clears waivers like they have done several times this year already.
