Cardinals and Hjalte Froholdt agree to contract extension
Arizona Cardinals center Hjalte Froholdt has become one of the sturdiest members of the offensive line since joining the franchise in 2023.

The desert Viking isn’t going anywhere.
The Arizona Cardinals and center Hjalte Froholdt have agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $20 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is Froholdt’s second contract extension with the franchise after originally coming aboard in 2023.
He inked his first extension with the franchise in 2024, another two-year deal.
The news comes as Arizona heads to Green Bay for a joint practice and preseason finale against the Packers.
Froholdt has become one of the steadiest members of the Cardinals offensive line and has locked down the center spot since joining the franchise under former head coach Jonathan Gannon.
The veteran hasn’t missed a game in his Cardinals tenure with 51 starts under his belt.
He’s clearly impressed new head coach Mike LaFleur and the rest of the coaching staff with Tuesday’s news.

No it doesn't.
Our Oline is not the problem.
Fro could start for many teams and Paris even more. Issac is a long time stalwart in the NFL, while Adams is an ascending player. Gaines is a serviceable backup at both C and G, while 7th round T Jayden Williams looks like a diamond in the rough.
We do have an issue at RT, but very few NFL olines are comprised of 5 studs.
Im not sure you even watch the Cardinals.
After another horrible season this year, they better go grab some decent olinemen next year to go with their next franchise QB. They will have the most money available than any other team next year I believe, so no excuses. GM needs to go next year too, because if you are rebuilding through the draft, you need to have a GM who can make the right calls or hire the right people who can make the right calls.
Being "2nd best" on this O-line means you would be 3rd string on any other team.
