The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly finalizing a deal to trade wide receiver Marvin Harrison, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Harrison will reportedly be inactive for Sunday’s game vs. Detroit as details of the trade are finalized.
Schefter added a trade will not be made until after Sunday’s games are finished, while Rapoport added the Cardinals have taken calls involving Harrison for the last few weeks.
Arizona Sports‘ John Gambadoro reports no deal for Harrison will be finalized until Monday, after the wide receiver has taken a physical.
The Texans are reportedly interested in Harrison, per Schefter and Rapoport.
The 2024 No. 4 overall pick currently ranks fifth on the team in targets and has just five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
General manager Monti Ossenfort said Friday the wide receiver remains very much in Arizona’s plans as they prepare for the Detroit Lions.
“I think this time of year, and really all throughout the year, there’s a lot of talk. There’s a lot of stuff that’s written out there. I think really in the end, like, Marv is a big part of what we’re doing,” Ossenfort told Arizona Sports’ Wolf & Luke. “He’s focused 100% on trying to get better, helping our team creating explosive plays, putting points on the board.”

I detached myself emotionally from this team last season, so I just sit here and laugh and shake my head at the utter incompetence that is Bidwill and Ossenfort. It makes me wonder, though... what does Ossenfort have on Bidwill? Ossenfort has been a spectacular failure. And he's still here. And still making major personnel decisions. Looks like he's sticking around for awhile. Incredible incompetence.
Neither side innocent in this
Then explain to the class how he had a good training camp, Professor Lacey. My guess is you'll avoid responding to this just like you dodged all of my responses to your trolling in the Suns thread.
The Cardinals just aren't a serious organization. The fact you're seriously defending them says it all. There has been no stability at QB or their O-Line, and no investment into the development of their young WR. And you think it's reasonable to give up on him after Week 4 of his 4th season.
Michael Bidwill is the problem, and homers like you who defend his ineptitude only make things worse.
