Arizona Cardinals center Hjalte Froholdt will be active against the Dallas Cowboys despite coming into Sunday with a questionable designation.
The Cardinals also listed cornerback Max Melton and safety Andrew Wingard questionable on Friday, but they will both be active in Dallas.
Froholdt missed practice on Friday after tweaking his knee on Thursday. With Jon Gaines II having already been ruled out, Arizona’s backup center is Hayden Conner, who has not taken a snap at center in his NFL career.
Froholdt has not missed a start since he joined the Cardinals for the 2023 season.
Arizona is already operating with starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., starting right guard Isaiah Adams and rookie offensive lineman Chase Bisontis on injured reserve.
Melton (knee) was limited in practice all week, as was Wingard (knee). Melton missed last week’s game against the Denver Broncos, while Wingard has not played since Week 4 at the New York Giants.
Quarterback Carson Beck, meanwhile, will be inactive for the eighth straight game to start his rookie season. Beck was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday after he dealt with a back issue, but the Cardinals will continue to use him as an emergency third quarterback.
The biggest name among players the Cowboys deemed as questionable entering Sunday was wide receiver George Pickens, whom ESPN’s Adam Schefter previously reported was expected to play. Pickens will be active.
