Cardinals first-round pick Haason Reddick is set throw out the first pitch at the D-backs game Friday night.

The linebacker will make his “big-league debut” at around 6:30, just before the D-backs take on the Phillies at 6:40.

Joining Reddick will be Suns first-round pick Josh Jackson, who was picked fourth overall by the Suns Thursday night.

The former Temple walk-on Reddick was selected 13th overall by the Cardinals in this year’s draft.

Reddick may not want to get advice from his new teammate David Johnson on how to throw out a first pitch, as Johnson bounced his attempt wide-left before a game this April.

I went to the game on Friday not knowing Reddick and Jackson were going to throw the first pitch. It was a nice surprise! The 6-1 loss was not such a nice surprise.

After watching Hasson Reddick's highlights yesterday I cannot wait for the season to get here to watch this guy play. Reddick not only will be an excellent 3 down ILB esp in coverage but with the ability to rush the QB from both inside & outside as an OLB/DE, Reddick will be a massive boost to an already elite pass rush. According to Pro Football Focus, Reddick was the 3rd most effective pass rusher in College football last season, only two higher pass rushing efficiency's grades than Reddicks 20.5 Pass-Rushing Efficiency grade, One of which was fellow first round 14th overall pick Derek Barnnett, the most productive sack artist in college football. Teaming up with Deone Bucannon running double A-Gap Blitz's, with AZ moving Reddick all around rushing him both as an ILB and Outside off the edge in pass rushing situations this year, I think Reddick is going to have an extremely productive year as a pass rusher, finishing with maybe 6 to 9 sacks & 35-45 QB Pressures... Reddick has an extremely bright future as a pass rusher. I am hoping he takes off right away and Hasson Reddick n Deone Bucannon keep Dansby on the bench.
