“He came in yesterday a little bit more sore than he left. He was in great spirits even yesterday,” LaFleur said. “We’ll keep him out this week as we just let it heal. It was a little more sore than we were anticipating.”
How concerning is Jeremiyah Love’s ankle injury?
LaFleur said the team will reevaluate Love’s injury next week when asked if there was any long-term concern.
Love was among the team’s biggest standouts from Thursday’s win.
The No. 3 overall pick saw a team-high 14 touches (11 carries, three catches) for 72 yards.
He put defenders in a spin cycle and hurdled another in his limited showing.
LaFleur, postgame, brought up Love’s injury but said he could have returned if needed.
