Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson had himself a Super Bowl Sunday.

Not only did the son of Arizona Cardinals wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson pick up his first career Super Bowl victory, he also became a father for a third time.

Talk about a jam-packed day.

While the Rams were trying to mount a comeback in their 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Jefferson’s son declared he had seen enough, with his wife going into labor around halftime.

After catching four passes for 23 yards and watching the confetti rain down, Jefferson swapped out his wide receiver hat for his dad hat, sprinting out of the stadium and off to the hospital.

NFL insider Josina Anderson said Shawn Jefferson told her “the midwife said she has about an hour to go before birth.”

It was just the right amount of time for the wide receiver to see his son enter the world — and a whirlwind three hours to say the least.

Jefferson finished off the postseason with nine catches (17 targets) for 102 yards, a Super Bowl ring and the birth of his second son.

Not a bad way to end the season by any means.

Now comes the bigger question: How much Cardinals gear is grandad going to sneak into the nursery?
