The Arizona Cardinals have signed tight end Shane Bowman and linebacker Eugene Asante, the team announced Sunday.

Bowman entered the NFL in 2024, signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers. He spent that season on the practice squad.

Bowman played 11 games for the Orlando Storm in the United Football League this spring, catching seven passes for 53 yards.

The Cardinals add another tight end to the roster as Tip Reiman remains on the physically unable to perform list while he recovers from a season-ending ankle injury sustained last year.

Asante signed as an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins out of Auburn last season and spent time on their practice squad, along with the Cleveland Browns’ and Atlanta Falcons’ practice squads.

Asante appeared in nine games with the Houston Gamblers in the UFL this season, registering 34 tackles, four tackles for a loss, two passes defensed and two forced fumbles.

The Cardinals are no strangers to signing UFL players this training camp, as they signed cornerback Quinton Newsome last week.
