Cardinals’ Simi Fehoko keeps lighting it up this preseason
Maybe Michael Wilson was onto something when he said Cardinals WR Simi Fehoko might be one of the greatest preseason wide receivers.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko just might be the best preseason wideout of our generation.
The wide receiver once again found the end zone in Arizona’s 42-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Friday night.
Fehoko and quarterback Gardner Minshew II kicked off the second quarter with a bang, connecting on a 41-yard touchdown strike to give the Cardinals an early lead.

Fehoko didn’t stop there, adding another score late. He finished the night with 94 yards and two touchdowns on five catches (eight targets).
The wide receiver has been a consistent threat this preseason, recording an explosive and/or touchdown in each of Arizona’s four exhibition games.
“He might be one of the greatest preseason receivers of all time at this point, right?” wide receiver Michael Wilson said earlier in the month. “Every time his number’s called, he seems to always come through. It’s a really fun room to be a part of.”
Fehoko is squarely on the bubble to make the initial 53-man roster. His biggest competition in the room is Jalen Brooks, who has been the most consistent Cardinals wide receiver this preseason.
Brooks continued that trend on Friday, catching all four of his first half targets for 47 yards.
Cardinals RB Evan Hull adds to the explosives
Fehoko wasn’t the only Arizona player to house an explosive during the first half of Friday’s action.
Trying to make his case for the 53-man roster, running back Evan Hull was handed the rock and was off to the races with a 47-yard touchdown run.
Hull made sure to take it all in once he found paydirt.
The running back made another trip to the end zone on a one-yard run in the third quarter.
He paced Arizona’s rushing attack with 107 yards and two scores on 16 carries. He averaged 6.7 yards per attempt.
The running back likely isn’t in the equation to crack Arizona’s 53-man roster but could have caught another team’s eye with Friday’s highlight. The Cardinals’ practice squad could be another option.

If I'm a GM in the league i can't wait to claim #80 wr & # 43 the Rb which the inept cards will gladly set them FREE!
They need to find a way to get both Reggie Virgil and Simi Fehoko involved a lot more in season especially in the redzone where they can use their big frames to their advantage and downfield on contested catches as vertical threats. Finds ways to use Fehoko as your #3 or #4 receiver option when in the redzone as he will moss most backup corners in the league with his frame.
Arizona has a loaded WR room biggest issues will be finding ways to use them all. I think WR Reggie Virgil is going to be really good and will be a draft steal continuing to get better as the year goes on. I hope at some point he can beat out n overtake Bourne this year but he will need to improve as a run blocker to do so as Bournes run blocking is where a lot of his roster value comes from and he’s a really good possession receiver who’s very reliable just not much speed.
