The Arizona Cardinals announced several coaching staff changes on Wednesday.
On top of the reported hires of offensive line coach Justin Frye, defensive line coach Winston DeLattiboudere III and inside linebackers coach Cristian Garcia becoming official, the Cardinals also revealed two new faces in Matt Feeney and Alec Osborne.
Feeney is set to take over as outside linebackers coach, replacing Robert Rodriguez, while Osborne will move into a defensive quality control role.
Feeney is coming off three seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. He served as their assistant defensive backs coach in 2024 after getting his NFL start as a defensive quality control coach in 2022. He also took over as the Raiders’ interim linebackers coach in 2023.
Osborne, meanwhile, spent the 2024 season as an inside linebackers coach for University of Louisiana-Monroe (his alma mater). Prior to that, he served as a defensive quality control coach for Baylor for two seasons.
Osborne also worked as a defensive graduate assistant for LSU from 2019-21.
Cardinals promote from within
In addition to the new blood, the Cardinals also promoted assistant quarterbacks coach Connor Senger to pass game specialist and Bill Bidwill Coaching Fellowship participant Blaine Gautier to offensive quality control.
Senger takes over for former pass game specialist Spencer Whipple, who was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their new quarterbacks coach under first-year head coach Liam Coen.

Ok Monti- really throwing a lot of trust your way..
But on the surface this OLB move doesn’t seem exactly beam with confidence.. Feeny is a 33 yr old one year in the NFL as an assistant DB coach from a 4 win Raider team.. But yet we snag him and make him our OLB Coach?
This is such a vital year for us, and OLB has to be our top 3 position needing immediate improvement..
Really hoping your seeing a D Coach on the way up.. And has been earning his stripes every step of the way
What happened to Robert Rodriguez?
Who the f**k are these people and do I give 2 s**ts? How about adding some talent to this team? The Cards are SO far removed from being relevant. It’s an embarrassment. Thank goodness for ASU Football last fall and the D-Backs 2 seasons ago. It is torturous being a Valley sports fan.
