GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals’ pass rush left a lot of fans wanting more after their season-opening win over the New Orleans Saints.
They did just that in less than two minutes time against the Carolina Panthers. Let’s just say, the ears are pinned back.
Led by Cardinals pass rusher Josh Sweat, the Cardinals went right after quarterback Bryce Young from the jump.
Arizona’s biggest addition went to work on third-and-7, sidestepping inside before accelerating for the strip sack.

That’s certainly one way to get the home crowd into it.
Sweat’s first sack as a Cardinal comes after he paced the team with four total pressures in Arizona’s season-opening win against the Saints.
The turnovers kept coming the very next drive, with Mack Wilson Sr. tipping a Young pass into the open arms of pass rusher Baron Browning for an interception.
Two drives. Two turnovers. Can’t ask for much more from the defense.

If we manage to get out of the Carolina game with a W, with the Niners and Seahawks coming up, looks like we will be 2-2 down 2 in the division after four games.
And we might not close this one out either.
