Will Seahawks’ Drew Lock build off Week 1 or revert back to who he has been?
Drew Lock has an extensive history of turnovers, and the Cardinals could come out with a win if he reverts back to old habits.

Drew Lock was impressive in Week 1, leading the Seattle Seahawks to a win following the injury to starting quarterback Sam Darnold, and will get the nod again on Sunday in Glendale against the Arizona Cardinals.
Lock went 16-of-22 for 187 yards and one touchdown. More notably though, he didn’t record a turnover, something he’s historically struggled with.
In Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald’s tenure with the team, they are a perfect 14-0 in games where they win the turnover battle. However, Lock didn’t start in any of those games.
“It’s a huge part of football, so it definitely doesn’t go overlooked in this room,” Lock said when asked about that stat. “In all of the locker rooms I’ve been in, it’s always talked about.”
In the past, Lock has spent time with the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and a separate stint in Seattle. He has had trouble limiting those turnovers at each of those stops.
Lock has played in 42 career games but has a subpar 10-18 record in the 28 games he’s started. He has career totals of 35 touchdowns, 28 interceptions and 20 fumbles, with seven of those fumbles getting lost.
“I would say if there’s one thing I’m saying to myself, it’s take care of the football and get it into these guys’ hands,” Lock said when asked about what needs to be done to end this weekend on a win.
Between wide receiver sensation Jaxon Smith-Njigba, rookie running back Jadarian Price and other stable weapons, the Cardinals defense will have their work cut out for them if Lock can protect the football.
In their victory against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, the Cardinals forced two turnovers. Safety Andrew Wingard had an interception and cornerback Will Johnson recovered a fumble.
