NFL schedule leaks: The latest surrounding Arizona Cardinals’ 2022 slate

Here's a look at the official announcements and reports that have dropped when it comes to the Arizona Cardinals' 2022 schedule.

The NFL is officially releasing the 2022 schedule at 5 p.m. on Thursday, but that hasn’t stopped the leaks from piling in.

With leaks pouring in like a sinking ship, there’s a lot to keep track of.

Keeping that in mind, here’s a look at the official announcements and reports that have dropped when it comes to the Arizona Cardinals’ 2022 schedule:

Week 1

The Cardinals will host the Kansas City Chiefs to kick off the season, Arizona announced. The game is set for Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1:25 p.m.

Week 2

Arizona takes a trip to Las Vegas to face the Raiders in Week 2. Former Cardinals edge rusher Chandler Jones signed with Las Vegas this offseason.

The game will start at 1:25 p.m. on Sept. 18.

Week 7

The Cardinals are reportedly taking on the New Orleans Saints for a Thursday Night Football matchup at home, per NFL insider Dov Kleiman.

Arizona played one TNF game last year, the infamous Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers in which wide receiver A.J. Green and quarterback Kyler Murray were not on the same page.

The Saints last faced the Cardinals in 2019, a 31-9 win for New Orleans.

Week 11

Announced last week, the Cardinals will face the San Francisco 49ers in an international Monday Night Football matchup in Mexico City.

Arizona played in the first ever game in Mexico City back in 2005.

Week 16

Tampa Bay beat writer J.C. Allen reported Thursday morning that the Cardinals will face the Buccaneers on Christmas Day. The holiday matchup on Sunday Night Football marks the second in as many seasons for Arizona.

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has not played against the Cardinals in Arizona since 2004.
