More QB protection: Cardinals sign OL Olisaemeka Udoh to 1-year contract
The Cardinals have signed offensive lineman Olisaemeka Udoh to a one-year deal, for their third player gained at the position this NFL free agency period.

The Arizona Cardinals announced Friday they have signed offensive lineman Olisaemeka Udoh to a one-year deal, for their third player gained at the position so far this NFL free agency period.
Udoh, 29, has played in seven seasons for the Minnesota Vikings (2019-2023), New Orleans Saints (2024) and Tennessee Titans (2025). The 6-foot-6, 320-pounder started three games for Tennessee last year and appeared in all 17 regular-season contests, including Oct. 5 in a Titans win over the Cardinals.
The Elon product is a former sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and brings versatility having started 22 total games at right guard (14), left tackle (four), right tackle (three) and left guard (one).
Udoh joins former Philadelphia Eagle Matt Pryor (one-year deal) and former Pittsburgh Steeler Isaac Seumalo (three-year deal) in a O-line room that is in the process of being reworked.

That’s about the only pick I’d genuinely hate not the player but the value. I don’t care how good he is RBs aren’t worth the third pick in the draft especially with our needs at premium positions. We’re not a player away, RBs never won anybody a Super Bowl . Saquon, AP, the Herschel trade, that back Ditka traded an entire draft class for lol I think his name was Ricky Williams if I remember correctly could be wrong. I like Love just not at three for AZ.
We are obviously going to draft Mauigoa. Ive said it here dozens of times at this point. Ive also broken down the Oline numerous times, Fro and Paris are great, Semalua is aging, but still solid. That leaves Adams/Gaines at RG or sliding one of the new average/below average rated additions to compete with them.
None of the new guys have 'above average' ratings according to PFF except Issac...and most have below average ratings.
So we need a RG and a RT. Mauigoa will solve one issue, but instead of bringing in another solid starter, Monti is bringing in back ups.
Gaines and Adams have shown flashes, but no consistency which might be the most important asset on the oline of them all.
