Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman P.J. Mustipher and kicker Joshua Karty signed their one-year tenders with the team on Tuesday.

Both were exclusive rights free agents this offseason.

The news comes as Arizona begins Phase 1 of its offseason program.

Mustipher is coming off career highs in tackles (32) and games played (15) last year with Arizona.

The defensive lineman first joined the Cardinals in 2024 as a member of the practice squad.

Mustipher entered the league as an undrafted rookie with the Denver Broncos. He went on to sign with New Orleans Saints (2023) and Philadelphia Eagles (2024) before landing in Arizona.

He recorded four tackles in four games played with the Saints. He did not appear in games for the Eagles or Broncos.

Karty is back with Arizona after joining the active roster late in 2025. The Cardinals signed the kicker off the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad in Week 17.

He did not appear in any games for Arizona.

Karty reunites with new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur, who was the Rams offensive coordinator during the kicker’s L.A. tenure.

In two seasons with the Rams (25 games), Karty converted 39-of-49 field goal attempts (79.6%).
