Paris Johnson Jr. ruled out of Cardinals-Rams with knee injury

GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals were without starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. for the remainder of their game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The lineman went down with a knee injury in the third quarter and was quickly ruled out with the issue.

It’s yet another tough blow in a game that has largely been dominated by the Rams.

Johnson has remained one of the lone bright spots for the offense throughout the season behind 12 starts.

Losing him for any amount of time is a tough blow for an Arizona O-line that has underperformed.

With Johnson sidelined, undrafted rookie Josh Fryar slid in as the next man up at left tackle.

Bilal Nichols ruled out for Cardinals-Rams

In addition to Johnson, defensive lineman Bilal Nichols was ruled out with a knee injury.

He made one tackle before exiting in his fourth game of the year.
