The Arizona Cardinals and former Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier have agreed to terms on a two-year contract, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

The deal is worth $12.25 million.

Allgeier is coming off his fourth season with Atlanta where he recorded 514 yards and eight touchdowns on 143 carries alongside Bijan Robinson. He added another 14 catches for 96 yards.

While he was the No. 2 option behind Robinson, Allgeier did post a 1,000-yard season in 2022 to go along with three scores. He caught 16 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown.

He now heads to a Cardinals running backs room led by James Conner, whose contract was recently revised ahead of the new league year.

Trey Benson also figures to be in the mix, though both he and Conner are coming off season-ending injuries.
