The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday they have assigned forward Michael Bunting to the Tucson Roadrunners, the Coyotes’ AHL affiliate.
In three games for the Coyotes this season, Bunting has one goal as his lone point.
Bunting was a selection by the Coyotes in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
With Tucson, Bunting has six goals, 18 points and 26 penalty minutes in 20 games.
After a loss on the road in Carolina on Sunday, the Coyotes have dropped five of their last six games. They hold a record of 14-16-2, the seventh overall position in the Pacific Division.
Arizona’s next game is at home on Tuesday against the New York Islanders.

If this team was fully healthy, I'd say this game was all but a lock, the only question being would they win but a lot, or just squeak out a win. But this team is not healthy, they've lost a ton of key players either for the year, or at least for significant time, and even some of the players they've gotten back are arguably not yet at 100%. Simply put, despite the record, this team is very vulnerable right now, and while the coaching staff has done an absolutely brilliant job covering for all the injuries (and losses of players to other things as well), there is no team in this league against which I feel confident. On the flip side, they do still have a ton of talent, and because of the fantastic coaching I definitely feel that we can beat any team in this league as well (and we've already beaten some of the best so we're far from unproven).
Should be an exciting game, my money's obviously still on the Cardinals, and it would be awesome if we could finally blow a team out, but I certainly would not assume anything
I feel you 100 percent. I feel more and more like we are going to blow them out this week though. Carr will be forced to carry the offense and the Cardinals are getting the picks (had two against Peyton!) so I like our chances of a double digit win this week.
Dude, all you had to say was "go cardinals! " lol.
