Coyotes release ticket promotions and theme nights

The Arizona Coyotes announced the promotions they will have during the season and the theme nights that fans will be able to enjoy.

The Arizona Coyotes released their single game ticket promotions for the 2016-17 season on Monday.

There are 14 games where the ‘Yotes will have special deals and giveaways. Here are some of the notable promotions:

• Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. Philadelphia Flyers: Along with this being opening night, all fans who attend the game will receive a 2016-17 Coyotes schedule magnet.

• Saturday, Nov. 19 vs. San Jose Sharks: (Hockey Fights Cancer Night): Show your support for the Coyotes in their fight against cancer.

• Friday, Dec. 23 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (Young Guns Night): The first 10,000 fans will receive a Coyotes beanie.

• Saturday, Feb. 18 vs. San Jose Sharks (20th anniversary celebration): The Coyotes will wear their black Kachina jerseys and several former players from the 1996 team, including Keith Tkachuck and Teppo Numminen, will be at the game. The first 10,000 fans will receive a Tkachuck throwback Kachina bobblehead.

• Friday, March 31 vs. Washington Capitals (Local Military Appreciation Night): The Coyotes will honor local active and veteran military members.

On top of having many promotional nights, the Coyotes will also have a family value pack for 11 home games. It contains four upper or lower level tickets, along with four hot dogs and four sodas. The Coyotes are also bringing back their Buck Bash nights, as fans will be able to purchase $1 hot dogs, soda and beer.

Students will also get discounted prices for 18 weekday games and military members will be able to get discounted tickets on Nov. 12 and March 31.

Opening night against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 15 is at 6 p.m. at Gila River Arena.
