Snoop Dogg is an NHL20 commentator with an amazing Coyotes howl

Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Lion.

Snoop Coyote?

The rapper was revealed as a commentator on NHL20 and, from the short snippets the EA Sports account has tweeted, it is marvelous.

At one point, he makes a high-pitched howl into the microphone.

“That’s the Coyote growl,” he says before doing it again as someone in the background asks “are you howling?”

“See when Coyotes score, that’s what it sounds like,” he helpfully explained.

Snoop Dogg is also going to be a playable character in the game, according to Venture Beat.

It’s unclear why he is foraying into the world of NHL video game commentary, but this isn’t the first time Snoop Dogg has lent his voice. He also teamed up with EA Sports on UFC 3 in 2018 and has appeared in non-sports games including Call of Duty: Ghosts in 2013 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in 2012.

We can’t wait to net a goal and hear his howl.

Even if Snoop Dogg isn’t particularly looking forward to the expected fallout.

“I’m gonna hate myself when the game comes on. Everyone gonna be like ‘Hey Snoop, I scored with the Coyotes, listen!'” Snoop Dogg said.
