Hour 2:Debating the political collision with college sports, NIL repercussions, and best weekend bets with Scott Spreitzer!

Friday, May 09, 2025 | 49:04

In the second hour, Roc and Jackson debate the growing intersection between college sports and politics, questioning whether congressional involvement is necessary or harmful to the tradition and integrity of college athletics. The discussion intensifies as they analyze a proposed rule that could require the NCAA to back pay former athletes—potentially costing billions—and explore how NIL has opened a complex, largely unregulated new chapter in amateur sports. Later, professional sports handicapper Scott Spreitzer joins the show on the Right Toyota Guest-Line to share his favorite picks for this weekend’s NBA and NHL Playoff matchups. The hour wraps up with the always-entertaining Random Fact of the Day and a fresh edition of Football at 50.
