The show opens live from Twin Peaks in Scottsdale as the guys celebrate a massive 71–67 road win for Arizona Basketball over UCONN and review the early-season outlook for the remaining college hoops programs across the Valley. The Thursday tradition of “Forks, Jacks & Cats” begins with NAU head coach Brian Wright, who reflects on an emotional Senior Day victory over Cal Poly, discusses what the Lumberjacks still need to hear their name called for an FCS Playoff bid, and outlines the direction of the program after back-to-back winning seasons. Next, ASU tight ends coach Jason Mohns joins on the Right Toyota Guest Line, sharing insight on the culture being built in Tempe, Jeff Sims’ growing comfort within the offense, and elements of the Sun Devils’ upcoming game plan for Colorado. The hour wraps with University of Arizona pre/postgame host Glenn P. Howell, who discusses the Wildcats’ strong play on the road, quarterback Noah Fifita’s program-record passing milestone, and gives well-earned credit to Arizona’s men’s basketball team for their top-three upset win over UCONN.
