Well that was fast.

After opening up ticket sales for the Wild Card game at 9 a.m. on Monday, the Arizona Diamondbacks announced less than two hours later that all tickets for the Oct. 4 game had been sold.

It may not come as a surprise since this will be the sixth postseason appearance in the D-backs’ 20-year history.

It’ll also be the Diamondbacks’ first since 2011, when the team finished 94-68 to win the NL West.

And while the Wild Card tickets are sold out, tickets for the potential National League Division Series games are still available.

A D-backs win in the Wild Card game will send them to the NLDS, where they will face the top team in the National League. As of Monday, that title belonged to the Dodgers, who have already clinched the NL West.
