Cardinals’ new food items include hot dogs, protein boxes and more

It’s time for football. And if you’re a fan dropping in to watch the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium this season, you’ll need to bring your appetite.

Craft Culinary Concepts revealed its new food items that can be found around the home of the Cardinals this season, starting with Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.

4th-and-long dog ($24)

Find it on the South Bridge

— A 22-inch, 1-pound Vienna beef hotdog that can be topped with chili and cheese or eaten plain.

Touchdown tossers salads ($10 and $15)

Sections 112, 135, 406 and 437

— Tokyo tosser: carrot-ginger dressing with cucumber noodles, tomatoes, greens, carrots, green onions, almonds, edamame and shichimi togarashi grilled chicken.

— Tuscan cotenna tosser: Blood orange balsamic vinaigrette, olives, zucchini noodles, red onion julienne, salami, perlini mozzarella, diced roma tomatoes, basil, pepperoncini and romaine lettuce.

— Tenacious tosser (vegetarian and gluten free): potato garlic dressing, heirloom tomatoes, charred tofu, cucumber noodles, herb-toasted chic peas, tabbouleh, red onion julienne, roasted red peppers and greens.

Protein boxes ($10)

— Mediterranean box: Genoa salami, pepperoni and provolone pinwheels, grapes, hard-boiled egg, whole wheat pita, hummus, cucumber and carrot sticks, and toasted marcona almonds.

— Turkey wrap box: Roasted turkey, spinach, roasted red pepper, boursin cheese wrap, organic peanut butter, carrot and celery sticks, hard-boiled egg, smoked cheddar cheese squares and trail mix.

– Chicken Italian sausage with tomato-basil bruschetta mix, shaved Parmesan cheese and balsamic glaze served on an olive oil and garlic grilled bun.
