Daniels is apparently dealing with a lower-leg injury he sustained during a run play in ASU’s 42-32 loss to the UCLA Bruins on Oct. 26.
It is expected that Joey Yellen will start for the Devils with Ethan Long as his backup.
Yellen, a freshman, is making his first career start and appearance for ASU.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound posted a record of 22-3 while starting two seasons at Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, California.
Long, who is also a freshman, has appeared in eight games this season, recording 32 yards on six rushes.
